And the official Saudi national team account, on the social networking site, Twitter, indicated that the right back, Muhammad Al-Buraik, was injured in the calf muscle, after undergoing a doctor’s examinations, without specifying the duration of his absence from football stadiums.
Muhammad Al-Buraik’s injury means that 4 Saudi players will miss the decisive match, against Mexico, at the end of the World Cup group stage.
Salman Al-Faraj, Yasser Al-Shahrani and Abdul-Ilah Al-Maliki are absent from Saudi Arabia in the upcoming confrontation against Mexico, the first and second due to injury, while the latter is serving the penalty of being suspended for one match, on the grounds of obtaining two yellow cards.
It is expected that the French coach, Hervé Renard, will make several changes in the formation of Saudi Arabia against Mexico, hoping to snatch the ticket to qualify for the round of 16 in the World Cup.
