A shooting at a Utah home in Enoch City left a family of 8 dead, officials say

Dotson stressed that it could take a long time for experts to investigate what happened at the family home.
The community of about eight thousand people in southern Utah has been devastated by the incident, Dobson said. “They feel loss, they feel pain and they have a lot of questions,” he said.
“We all know this family,” Dotson continued, explaining that “everyone has some connection to the individuals and some connection to the family.”
The Iron County School District in Cedar City, Utah, said in declaration Wednesday that all five children were students at his schools and that the deaths were a “tragic loss” to the community.
“This loss will certainly raise many emotions, concerns and questions for our entire school district, especially our students,” the release said.
IN a tweetDeidre Henderson, Utah’s lieutenant governor, described the shooting as a “tragedy” and said she was praying for the Enoch City community.
“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this senseless violence,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox (right) tweeted. “Please keep the Enoch community in your prayers.”
