A source from Al-Ahly Club revealed on Friday evening that there are attempts by the administration to transfer the team’s matches to the “Cairo Stadium”.
The source added in exclusive statements via “Yalla Koura” that there is a desire on the part of the administration and the technical staff for the team’s matches to be transferred to “Cairo Stadium”.
The source explained that there are three weeks after the Pyramids game in which the team will play away from home.
The source indicated that talks are underway with a stadium company to get approval for the team to play all of its games at Cairo Stadium without harming the club.
The source noted that there is a penalty clause with the stadiums and if the team plays outside the Al-Salam Stadium, the club will be fined (£5 million), but recently the administration managed not to activate this clause in the Pyramids match.
And Al-Ahly Club issued an official statement today, Friday, to move the team’s next match to Cairo Stadium instead of Al-Ahly WE Al-Salam Stadium. See the details
