Amer Hussain, a member of the football association, revealed the reason why Al-Ahly played a match 24 hours before their traditional rival club Zamalek.

Amer Hussain said in televised statements to Al-Hayat channel: “I want to say that it is normal to be late for the end date of the league in the current season.”

He added: “That’s why people ask why Al-Ahly play after 4 days instead of 3 days compared to their rival, Zamalek, and they don’t look at the positive side, which is that there are clubs that rest more than other clubs. “

On the Mahmoud Kahraba crisis, he said: “The Football Association is only obliged to receive official letters and send them to the clubs in any crisis with a particular player, so that each side sees its legal position and starts moving.”

Amer Hussain went on to talk about Al-Ahly’s participation in the Club World Cup: “There will be 3 to 4 matches that Al-Ahly will not actually play if they reach the final match, and a large number of matches will be postponed because it is related to participation in more than one tournament.’

And he continued: “We have turned to the African Union to set an alternative date for the match between Al-Ahly and Cameroon Cotton that was supposed to take place on February 10 and we are waiting for a response and there will certainly be an alternative I want to be decisive because it will take away the space of local competitions.”

And Amer Hussain continued: “The matches went on until May, but FIFA chose Morocco to host the Club World Cup and Al-Ahly participated, so the European Union also has the same crisis.”

And the Football Association member continued: “The match between Al-Ahly and Oakland City has been decided at the Club World Cup and will take place on February 1.”

And he continued: “We have to fully visualize a number of matches that will be postponed for Al-Ahly so as not to push it. For example, the Harass Al-Hodud match will be on January 29 and so we will make a comparison to determine the matches.”

And he concluded: “We have punished the Mahala fans by banning them from the match because of what happened in the last match with the referees. There is a difference between the emotions of the fans at every decision against their clubs and throwing bottles at the referees, and this issue has been repeated .”
