The International Handball Federation has announced the dates for the quarter-final matches of the 2023 World Handball Championship, which will be held in Sweden and Poland.

The Egyptian national team was defeated by Denmark 30-25 in the final round of the fourth round of the main tournament.

With this result, the national team of Egypt lost the lead and fell to second place, with its score stopping at 8 points, and Denmark snatched the lead of the Pharaohs and climbed to the first place with 9 points.

Thus, the national team of Egypt will meet Sweden in the fourth group of the quarterfinals of the World Handball Championship.

While world champions Denmark will meet their Hungarian counterpart, second in Group D, in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

All quarter-final matches will be played next Wednesday 25 January 2023 on the following dates:

Spain vs. Norway – 19:00

Denmark vs Hungary – 19:00

Egypt vs Sweden – 9:30 p.m

France vs. Germany – 9:30 p.m
