Today, Thursday, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) published the monthly ranking of football teams after the completion of the World Cup (FIFA Qatar 2022).

Morocco’s national team climbed to 11th place after the Atlas Lions team was 22nd in October.

The Moroccan national team achieved fourth place at the World Cup in Qatar after losing to Croatia (2-1) in the match for third and fourth place.

Morocco’s national team achieved a feat for the Arabs and Africa by reaching the semi-finals for the first time before losing to France (2-0).

The Moroccan national team qualified for the round of 16 after topping Group F with (7 points), then beating Spain on penalties (3-0) after the end of regular and extra time with a score of (0-0).

In the Round of 16, the Moroccan national team beat their Portuguese rivals with an unanswered goal through Youssef Al-Nusairi.

Argentina, the world champions, moved up to second place to chase down the leading team Brazil, on the other hand, World Cup runner-up France team remained in third place.

The national team of Argentina won the title for the third time in its history, defeating France on penalties (4-2) after the end of the match in regular time and extra time with a score of (3-3).

Egypt’s team remained in 39th position, ahead of Algeria, which ranked 40th.
