Ahmed Fawzy, the goalkeeper coach of the Media Club and the former coach of Aswan Club, revealed that he had received a call regarding the succession of Essam El-Hadary as goalkeeper coach in the Olympic team.
Fawzy said on TEN channel: “I received a call from the Egyptian Football Association regarding the succession of Essam El-Hadary in the Olympic team, but I am happy that El-Hadary reconciled with coach (Rogero Micale) for the sake of the national team.”
He added, “The coach has the first and last word in each team, but they are views and are discussed in a friendly manner. I am happy to nominate me, and I may have a chance in the future with one of the national teams.”
Mohamed Barakat, member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the Olympic team, resolved the difference of views between coach Rogerio Micale and goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary.
The past hours witnessed a positive difference in views between Micale and El-Hadary.

He added, “I am going to the fourth camp with him, and my relationship with him is strong and there are no differences between us.”
The difference came against the background of the number of guards scheduled to join the national team in its camp, which began Thursday as part of the preparations to face Zambia in the third round of African Nations Qualifiers, which qualifies for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
