Manchester City player Erling Haaland revealed that the moment he took the penalty kick against Fulham was one of the most stressful moments in his life, indicating that he wanted to play every game.
Halland returned from injury to enter a substitute against Fulham and scored a fatal goal in the 95th minute from the penalty mark to win Manchester City two goals to one in the 15th round of the English Premier League.
It is noteworthy that Manchester City plays with ten men from the 26th minute after Joao Cancelo was sent off.
“It’s great, I was very nervous before the penalty kick was taken,” Erling Haaland told Sky Sports after the match.
“It was one of the most stressful moments of my life, but it was wonderful,” he added.
“Penalty in the last minute, of course I will be nervous. I was injured for a week, it’s great to be back.”
“I want to play every game, but in the end we need three points and that’s what we got.”
“I’m tired, but I’m very happy,” he added.
Halland has scored 18 goals in 12 games so far with Manchester City, and needs five goals to equal the number of duo Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min, who won the league’s top scorer title last season.
