The Nantes club has decided its position on the contract of Mostafa Mohamed, the Egyptian international striker, on a permanent basis.
Mostafa Mohamed plays for Nantes on loan from Galatasaray until the end of the current season, with a buyout clause of 5 million and 750 thousand euros.
And Turkish newspaper Al-Sabah revealed that Nantes have terminated all agreements with Mustafa Mohamed and have received the approval of Antoine Compari, the team’s coach, to activate the buyout clause.
The report states that Galatasaray have decided to use the money to buy Mustafa Mohamed from Nantes to buy Kosovo striker Milot Rasica on a permanent basis.
Rashika plays for Galatasaray on loan from Norwich City, England.
The report stated that Nantes coach Antoine Compari said: “Mustafa Mohamed came to a different culture but he is doing everything he can to adapt. I am sure he will perform better in the coming periods. He must continue with us.”
Mostafa Mohamed led Nantes to Europa League qualification by beating Olympiakos, Greece, with two unanswered goals, scoring a goal and setting up another in the sixth and final round of the group stage.
The Egyptian international striker has featured in 22 games for Nantes this season, scoring 6 goals and assisting another 4.
