The Arab Table Tennis Federation issued 5 strict decisions following the events of the Al-Ahli and Bahraini Club of Bahrain match.

The Bahraini champions beat Al-Ahly 3-2 in the quarter-finals of the Arab Club Table Tennis Championship, and at the end of the match there were clashes between the two teams.

The Appeals Committee for the Arab Table Tennis Club Championship announced the rulings regarding the events of the Al-Ahli vs. Bahrain match as follows:

First: Excluding Amr Reda, the coach of Bahrain, from completing the tournament and barring him from entering the field of play and the call-up area, in addition to crowning him if he wins any medal.

Second: Muhammad Al-Baili’s one-match ban and warning.

Third: Club Bahrain administrator Rashid Al-Majed was issued a warning for misconduct.

Fourth: Ali Lashin was banned from Hall 2 until the end of the tournament.

Fifth: The protest filed by Ahmed Hamed, Managing Director of Al-Ahly Club, was rejected in form and accepted in substance.

Al-Ahly and Zamalek were defeated by Bahrain Bahrain and Qatar respectively in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

While Enppi qualified for the semi-finals after beating Shabibat Al-Kharroub Association 3-0.

Bahrain’s Sarr also beat Qatar’s Al Sadd 3-1.

Enppi will face their Bahraini counterpart, Sarr, in the semi-finals, while Bahrain will face their Qatari counterpart, Qatar, tomorrow, Friday, at six in the evening.

Al-Ahly and Zamalek will play in a match from the fifth to the eighth ranking.

From December 25 to 31, Hall No. 2 in the complex of halls of the Cairo International Stadium will host the championship competitions with the participation of 32 Arab teams.
