The source added that the diagnosis of Metwally’s injury is a light tear, not a strain in the back muscle.
The source indicated that Metwally will miss the Arab Contractors match in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup, in addition to meeting Tala’a El-Gaish in the Egyptian League, which comes within the fourth week.
Metwally was able to participate with Al-Ahly in all his matches since the beginning of the new season (2022-2023).
