Morocco coach Walid Rekraki announced today, Thursday, the final list of the Atlas Lions in preparation for the 2022 World Cup, which witnessed the return of Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, the striker of the Saudi Federation of Jeddah.

Morocco is in Group F, which also includes Belgium, Canada and Croatia.

Morocco will start its World Cup campaign in Qatar on November 23, with a match against Croatia in the first round.

The Atlas Lions are participating in the World Cup for the sixth time in their history.

The list witnessed the return of Hamdallah after a long absence from the Arab team, due to differences with Vahid Halilhodzic.

The list, which included 26 players, also witnessed the addition of Badr Banoun, the former defender of Al-Ahly and the current Qatar, and Hakim Ziyech, the Chelsea star.

On the other hand, Regraki did not choose Ashraf Bencharki, the former Zamalek wing and the current Emirati Al Jazeera.

Defense Lines: Ashraf Hakimi, Nasir Mazrouai, Nayef Akrad, Roman Sais, Ashraf Dari, Yahya Attia Allah, Badr Banoon, Jawad Yamiq.

Midfield: Sofiane Amrabet, Ezz El Din Onahi, Amin Harith, Salim Amlah, Abdel Hamid El Saberi, Sofiane Boufal, Abdel Samad El Zalzouli, Hakim Ziyech, Zakaria Boukhalil, Elias El Shaer, Yahya Gibran.

Forwards: Youssef Al-Nusairi, Bilal Khannos, Walid Shdeira, Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah.
