Prince Harry talks about his relationship with his older brother Prince Williamheir to the British throne, and how he thinks his late mother would have reacted to the widespread rift between the brothers.
“I think she’s going to be sad,” Harry said, according to a new clip of the interview released Thursday. “I think she’s going to be looking at it in the long term to know that there are certain things that we have to go through to be able to heal the relationship.”
He added that he has “felt my mother’s presence more in the last two years than I have in the last 30”.
Diana died in August 1997 after a car accident in Paris, France.
The full interview will air Monday on “GMA,” a day before the book’s January 10th release.
“What it all boils down to at the end of the day is that I don’t think we’ll ever be able to have peace with my family unless the truth is out there somewhere,” Harry said in the interview, which aired on Monday.
Harry said before that the memoir will be “a first-hand account of my life that is accurate and completely truthful.”
