A press report indicated, today, Tuesday, that the International Federation of Football Associations, FIFA, imposed a fine on Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, due to the player’s misconduct in the 2022 World Cup.
The French national team appeared brilliantly in the victory match at the expense of Australia (4-1), before excelling again, over Denmark, with two goals to one, to officially qualify for the round of 16 in the World Cup, without waiting for the third match against Tunisia.
And the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, quoting ESPN, stated that FIFA decided to impose a fine on French striker Kylian Mbappe.
And she stressed that Mbappe, when he was awarded the best player in the match, against Australia and Denmark, refused to speak to the media, which is considered a violation of the FIFA regulations in the World Cup.
And she stated that FIFA issued official warnings to the French national team, after the Australian meeting, about imposing a fine on Kylian Mbappe, if he repeated “misconduct” again in the Denmark match, but the player insisted on his position.
It is noteworthy that Mbappe scored 3 goals in the 2022 World Cup competitions, to lead, accompanied by Ecuadorian striker Ener Valencia, the top scorer table.
