Coach Hervé Renard, coach of the Saudi national team, agreed to leave the player, Salman Al-Faraj, from the Al-Akhdar camp in the 2022 World Cup competitions, after the injury he had recently suffered.

The Saudi national team tasted the historic victory at the expense of Argentina (2-1) in the first round, before losing at the hands of Poland, with two clean goals, in the framework of the second round of the group stage in the 2022 World Cup.

And the Saudi national team, through its official account on the social networking site, Twitter, issued an official statement, in which it indicated that French coach Herve Renard had agreed to leave Salman Al-Faraj from Al-Akhdar camp before the match with Mexico.

And the official statement confirmed the approval of the technical staff in the Saudi national team to leave Salman Al-Faraj, the World Cup camp, after submitting a medical report, confirming the need for the 33-year-old to undergo a treatment program.

Salman Al-Faraj, was injured while participating in the Saudi-Argentina match, in the first round of the World Cup group stage, before missing the Poland match, due to his injury.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi national team faces Mexico, in the third round of the group stage, as Al-Akhdar’s victory guarantees qualification to the final price round in the World Cup, without regard to the result of Argentina and Mexico.
