Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with a minimum storage option of 256GB

Sometimes it’s the little changes between smartphone generations that make fans happy the most, and this new leak is likely from the Ahmed Quaider will please many future Samsung Galaxy S23 owners. It seems that the South Korean manufacturer has decided to increase the minimum amount of memory available in its flagship smartphones from 128 GB option to Galaxy S22 series up to a 256GB option for the Galaxy S23 series.

Qwaider breaks down the storage options for each device in the Galaxy S23 lineup, and the standard Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are only mentioned in one variant each at the moment: 8GB + 256GB. It looks like there will be three choices Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB being the premium drive options in the range. However, the leaker only mentions 12 GB of RAM for the S23 Ultra when there are already multiple reports of 8GB variant.

It’s possible that Qwaider is simply breaking down the currently confirmed storage options for the Galaxy S23 series, rather than listing every single variant that Samsung will produce. Offering a 2023 flagship smartphone with just 128GB of storage wouldn’t be a smart business move on Samsung’s part, so bumping up to a minimum of 256GB of storage is just one of possibly many small, but important changes which will come to the Galaxy S23 smartphones.
