Streamer Sprains Knee Live on Twitch Playing Call of DutyThank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!
Have you ever caused yourself any real physical harm while playing a video game? My thumb tore up after a game Grand Touring endurance racing for a week in 1998 and once kicked a table doing some kung fu crap for eye toy game. That is all. I have never, unlike this wretch, done anything that required serious medical intervention.
We are about to meet danny. Danny is in the Navy, currently stationed in Okinawa, and in his downtime Danny likes to play video games and sometimes stream them on the internet. This is all very normal and expected, but today we meet Danny not because of what he usually does, but because of a strange incident that happened recently while he was playing Call of Duty.
As you will see, Danny is nearing the end of a CoD match in this clip and gets a little excited. He gets to his feet, bounces up and down a bit, arches his back, and then just… eats shit. It folds up, like one of those toy donkeys where you press the button and their limbs drop down.
Two things here. First off, sorry Danny, but as a longtime fan of “dudes get hurt real bad” genre of physical comedy, it’s — at least in video game circles — all the time. It’s like a modern remake of Will Ferrell’s “I’m Very Very Wounded” from Austin Powers, only with Call of Duty twist:
After thirty seconds I’m concerned. After sixty seconds I’m laughing. With “I have to stop the flow, I’m so sorry,” I end.
Second, and more importantly, as with all good “hurt dude” videos, I can only laugh because Danny is OK!
Get well soon dude.
