The dispute over the financial return caused the return of negotiations between Aswan Club and Imad Al-Nahhas, the candidate to coach the team, to zero, after the two parties failed to reach an agreement.
Aswan’s board of directors insisted on having Al-Nahhas at the head of the technical leadership of the southern team, especially since he is from the Zahrat Al-Janoub, but the coach did not agree to the financial offer from the club, and the two parties entered into negotiations during the last 72 hours, which were unsuccessful.
The club received nominations for several training names, including Hamza El-Gamal, Mohamed Youssef, Hamada Sedky, Portuguese Joao Motta, the former Sudanese Al Hilal coach, and Abdel Hamid Bassiouni.
The board of directors of Aswan Club officially announced the acceptance of Rabie Yassin’s apology for not continuing his position as technical director of the southern team due to the poor results.
Aswan, returning to the Premier League under the leadership of Rabie Yassin, lost in the first three matches of the competition this season, against Al Ittihad of Alexandria, Al Ahly and Ghazl Al Mahalla, all by a score of 1-0, to fall to the bottom of the standings table without a balance of points.
Rabie Yassin’s apology came 4 months after his leadership of the team, as the Aswan Club’s board of directors, headed by El-Shafei Saleh, terminated his contract with the former coach of the Egyptian youth team, to take over the technical task for the people of the south, in early July.
