The Egyptian Football Association has come out with its decisions regarding the events that took place in the match between Al-Tarsana and Al-Sahka Al-Hadid in the second division.

The match between Al-Tarsana and Al-Sahka Al-Hadid in the second division witnessed an attack on the referee, leading to the final whistle being given before its original hour.

And this incident happened because the referee awarded a penalty to the railwaymen in the last minute, turning the stadium into a battlefield.

The referee decided to call off the match, which saw Arsenal progress with an unanswered goal, before play was halted and clashes with the referee ensued.

The Football Association’s statement was as follows:

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association calls on the fans of Egyptian football and all elements of the game to adhere to ethics and sportsmanship and seek rights through legal means in accordance with the established rules, and in the event that the above is violated by any of the elements of the game or the public, the rules of the federation will apply, regardless of whether they relate to competitions or discipline. , with immediate effect.

This is based on what appeared in the reports of the referee and observer of the match between Al-Tarsana and Al-Sahka Al-Hadid on December 23 in the General League, Division Two, season 2022/2023, and the events that came with him and after reviewing the reports received, the competition committee decided as follows: –

1- Calculation of the match result (2/0) in favor of the Railway Club.

2- The transfer of the first (two matches) of Al-Tarsana Club outside its stadium, with a warning to double the penalties in case of repetition and to provide us with the alternative stadium within one week of its date to notify anyone who is necessary and this is what the members of Al-Tarsana Club took to the match referee which led to the cancellation of the match and the imposition of a fine Al-Tarsana Club owes pounds 20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) to be paid by the club to Al-Ittihad coffers as members of Al-Tarsana club proceeded to the match referee.

3- The suspension of the captain/Khaled Eid, the technical director of Al-Tarsana Club, for “eight matches” and a fine of 10,000 pounds “ten thousand pounds” for his unsportsmanlike conduct towards the match referee.

4- The suspension of the captain/Abdel Rauf Aid Abdel Rauf, the goalkeeping coach of Al-Tarsana club, for “eight matches” and a fine of 10,000 pounds “ten thousand pounds” for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match referee.

5- Captain Ashraf Saqr Abu Al-Maati, the coach of Al-Tarsana club, was suspended for eight matches and fined 10,000 pounds (ten thousand pounds) for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match referee.

6- Suspension of captain Osama Abdel-Hai Mohamed, physiotherapist of Al-Tarsana club, for eight months and a fine of 20,000 pounds (twenty thousand pounds), with the memorandum presented to the board of directors of the federation recommending disqualification for assaulting the referee at the match.

7- Recommending raising the issue to each of: Mr. Tariq Said Hassanein Abdel Karim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Tarsana Club, and Mr. Mohammed Tariq Said Hassanein Abdel-Karim, Member of the Board of Directors of Al – Tersana Club, to the board of directors of the Egyptian Football Association for their actions towards the match referee.
