Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, the managers of Liverpool and Manchester City, have announced the formation of their official teams for the match that brings the two teams together shortly after this evening, Thursday, at the Al-Ittihad Stadium in the final price of the English League Cup.
The match starts at 22:00 and will be broadcast on BN Sports Premium 1.
Liverpool qualified for the role after knocking out Derby County from the third round after beating them 3-2 on penalties, while Manchester City progressed after beating Chelsea with a clean sheet.
Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, plays in his team’s starting line-up in the match, while Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s goalscorer, is in his squad, noting that neither has featured in the 2022 World Cup, which was held in Qatar.
Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has been left out of the squad for the match due to injury.
Both teams are missing a lot of stars because of a break after participating in the World Cup.
