A new SKU of Intel’s Core P-series with a lower TDP has been subjected to the Geekbench CPU test.
Intel’s new Core i5-1350P processor has just been tested with the Geekbench software, providing the first performance data for this new 12-core processor for low-powered laptops. This leak appears exactly after a month Core i7-1370P was included in the same benchmark.
This CPU offers 12 cores and 16 threads, which means 4 Performance Cores combined with 8 Efficient Cores. The same configuration was used for the current generation i5-1250P CPU. What has changed are the clocks, the base clock is now 1.9 GHz (+200 MHz) while the turbo clock goes up to 4.7 GHz (+300 MHz).
The processor appeared together with the Acer TravelMate P614-53 laptop, which is a light business laptop. Intel’s P-series is very often used by such systems that can only rely on integrated graphics.

Since the 12th generation Core P-Series are not listed in the official Geekbench rankings, finding a reference point for comparison can be problematic. However, Checking the notebook have relevant data based on their own tests, which show that the Core i5-1350P is 6% faster in a single-core test and 2% faster in a multi-core test compared to its predecessor (Core i5-1250P).

Companies like Acer will be announcing new thin and light laptops very soon. Intel is all set to launch its 13th Gen Core P-Series as early as next week at CES 2023. So far, we have confirmation of two Intel 13th Gen Core P-Series SKUs, both of which are listed in the chart below:
