Player Abdullah Al-Sayed, the playmaker of Pyramids Club, received a red card this evening, Wednesday, in the positive draw (1-1) against Future when the two sides met at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo, within the thirteenth round of Egyptian League competitions.

Pyramids are set to face Zamalek next Monday in a match between them at Cairo Stadium in the semi-final round of the Egyptian Cup competitions.

The most famous referee, Muhammad Maarouf, with the last seconds of the meeting of the Future and the Pyramids, a red card in the face of Abdullah Al-Saed, after two yellow cards that the 37-year-old player received in one minute, specifically in 90 + 4 .

The competition rules of the Egyptian Football Association highlight the division between the three official competitions, the General League, the Egyptian Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup, in the cases of warnings and sending offs.

Paragraph (a) of Article (35) of the Competition Rules of the Egyptian Football Association states: “Cases of cautions and sending offs that occur in general league competitions are independent as a separate competition, and cases of cautions and sending offs that occur in occur in the Egypt Cup competition is independent as a separate competition. Thus, Pyramids has the legal right to include the player Abdullah Al-Saeed in Zamalek’s upcoming Egyptian Cup semi-final match.

It should be noted that Zamalek ranks third in the Egyptian league standings with 26 points, while Pyramids appear fourth with 24 points.
